Journalism to Raise Environmental Awareness is proud to announce the pilot issue of Meloncoyote, the first community journalism effort involving the 7-state, bi-national region of the Gulf of California, in the Southwest United States and Northwest Mexico. The name comes from a medicinal wild gourd plant that is common to the whole region. (Publication in Spanish only.)
